The children and staff are an essential part of each performance. Think of it as a combination of pantomime, history performance, improvisation, magic and musical. All the sound, visuals and lighting are provided by us. All you need to bring is an audience and the openness to take part. After all, it is you who will be the unexpected star of the show.
Greek Performance: Follow Orpheus from his journey on the Argo to the depths of Hades, where he battles for his love.
Workshop 1: A carousel of activities exploring how the Greeks developed Maths, Science, Democracy, Art, Drama, Architecture, Philosophy, Religion, War and Mythology.
Workshop 2: Creating a song about the Greek experience and recording it using a digital audio workstation.
CPD: The importance of theatre in the curriculum and in child development. How to get started with a show and more importantly how to get it finished. Using projections and green screen both on stage and in the classroom, allowing for equity of learning.
